Petition: Handicap if someone wins 3 championships in a row

Alright, if someone wins three championships in a row they are clearly dominating the league. I say that if this happens they should be given some form of handicap to make things a little more fair. The handicap could be something like an automatic loss of a 2nd round pick or a lower ball count. It is not as fun to play in a league when you know the maximum you can win is the WS loser prize. Anyone agree?

The main league is already handicapped, right? The World Series champion gets the last pick of a team.


I see your point in the draft league though, especially since it is a pro-am invitational to recruit newbies to the club.

What if the pro-am invitational league criteria looked like this:

1. 50% veterans / 50% newbies.

2. veteran restriction: must have 50 games completed to be eligible.

3. veteran restriction: can not be a current WS champion to be eligible.

I agree with that the only problem would be that the playoffs in vba 21 will not be anywhere near starting by the time vba 22 starts. Are you saying the vba 20 or 19 winner should not be allowed in?

Well, it would be a continuous policy, and would apply to whoever is the current champion at time of each league, but using the upcoming draft league as an example...yes, because those winners would both be current champions at that time.

That is assuming that those guys are actually going to finish the world series before we start the next draft league, lol.
